Map it Out!

Corkboard's Trip Planner Feature

We've added a feature that lets you add places to a Corkboard and see all those places on a single map. Great for when you're planning a trip and don't want to miss a few places you really want to check out.

Here's how to use it:

Step 1: Access The Create Corkboard Page

There are a few places from where you can access the Create Corkboard page. One place is under the "Corkboards" navigation option once you're logged in.

Step 2: Create A Corkboard

Name your Corkboard and if you want, you can add a description and an image.

Adding collaborators: If you're going on this trip with other people, you can let them post to this Corkboard as well. You can add them typing their email address or by name if they're your Corkboard contacts.

Step 3: Access The Create Posting Page

Once you create the Corkboard, you will see who can post to it. Now, go ahead and add a few places by clicking on the Create Posting button.

Step 4: Add Places

When creating places, make sure you add enough location information so Corkboard can then show the place on a map.

Repeat this step to create as many places as you want.

Step 5: Map It Out!

Once you have a few places on your Corkboard, try the Map It Out! feature by clicking on the button hightlighted on the screenshot.

Step 6: Take The Map Wherever You Go

When you get to your destination, you can access all the places you posted on your mobile and of course through any computer connected to the internet.
