Lone Star Style Salsa Recipe

7 (28 oz) cans of whole plum tomatoes with juice
3 cups of fresh plum tomatoes
3 and 1/2 cups white onions
1/2 cup fresh jalapeno peppers
3/8 cup garlic salt
12 oz can tomato paste
1/3 cup fresh cilantro
1/4 tbsp vegetable oil
1/8 cup of salt

Mix all ingredients together in a food processor to desired chunkiness and bottle.
Let sit overnight.
Will keep if refrigerated for 2 to 3 weeks.
The recipe makes about 8 large mason jars.

We found it too liquid so we drained the juice from 3 of the cans of the whole plum tomatoes. You can try other variations.
