Smoked trout pate

Recipe:

12 oz smoked trout, broken in chunks
2 oz light cream cheese, softened
1 shallot, finely chopped
2 Tbsp prepared horseradish
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper

Combine all ingredients in a food processor and purée until smooth. Makes 1 1/2 cups. Refrigerate up to 3 days. Serve on crackers, pita bread, etc.

If it's too fishy I usually increase the amount of cream cheese. Also makes it go further.
